Taylormade Live Band - Christmas Parties Delapre Abbey, Northamptonshire

Taylormade Live Band had the pleasure of performing at the Corporate Christmas Parties of Tesco and Comet Electricals at Delapre Abbey in Northamptonshire on the 18th and 19th December 2009.

The venue was a winter wonderland themed marquee in the grounds of Delapre and despite the mounting inches of snow the guests braved the elements and we soon got them warmed up and on the dance floor!

We had a fantastic time and we even learnt the Christmas song 'All I Want For Christmas' By Mariah Carey which went down an absolute storm and resulted in an encore on both nights!

We had a really enjoyable time and we are looking forward to next years Christmas Parties already!

Iain and Cat Humphrey - Some lovely feedback

Matt and I have just received a lovely email from Iain and Cat Humphrey whose Wedding we performed at last weekend in Hertfordshire.

It says:

Hi Carley & Matt,

Thank you so much for Saturday, you guys are amazing!! All of our guests said how good you were and we just want to thank you so much for everything you did, we couldn't have asked for a better day and you were up there with the best parts of it!

Iain and Catherine Humphrey - Tewin Bury Farm, Welwyn, Hertfordshire

This Saturday, Carley and I performed as Taylormade Acoustic Duo for the Wedding of Iain and Cat, at Tewin Bury Farm in Welwyn Garden City.

It was a real pleasure to play for Iain, Cat and their guests, there was a fantastic atmosphere and a real sense of celebration.

We began the evening with their First Dance, 'I'll Stand By You' by The Pretenders, which we had learnt especially for them. It was a really touching moment and certainly a great song choice. We continued with some mellow love songs for our first set, before picking up the pace with a lively second acoustic set, including another special request, 'All I Need' by Air.

Following the acoustic sets, Carley and I got the Disco started and everyone danced the night away!

We'd like to again wish Iain and Cat the very best for their future together, starting with a lovely time in St Lucia this Christmas! We're not jealous at all..... :-)

Taylormade Live Band perform for the Royal Engineers!

This week The Taylormade Live Band performed at the Christmas Party of the Army Royal Engineers 22 squadron at Swinton Barracks near Andover.

It was the first time Taylormade have performed for the Armed Forces and we had a fantastic time!

These Boys and Girls have been working hard out in the Middle East so they really knew how to let their hair down when it came to their Christmas Party!

They also invited us to join them for a delicious Christmas dinner which was very much

appreciated! Thanks guys!

We were booked to perform the following day as well but this has been postponed as some of the engineers have had to go up to Cumbria to fix the bridges after the terrible floods we have recently.

Never the less we look forward to performing for them in a few Weeks time after their hard work is done!

Taylormade Rocked Wadddesdon!

This weekend Taylormade had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding of Andrew and Kathryn Mitchell at the Dairy at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire. Andrew & Kathryn booked us after one of our live performances back in May, and we had a fantastic time.

Kathryn & Andrew booked us to perform as both the Acoustic Duo & Live Wedding Band on their special day. The Acoustic Duo performed a 45 minute set in the afternoon during their Drinks Reception, and Andrew & Kathryn had asked us to learn 'Star' By Sara Storer, which is now one of our favourites!

Kathryn and Andrew couldn't decide on their First Dance song so in fact had 10. We learnt 'Inside Out' By Bryan Adams and 'Love Story' By Taylor Swift for them, and it was a really lovely moment as they took to the floor as Husband and Wife.

After the First Dance songs, The Taylormade Live Band performed 2 sets during the night which went down a storm!

We would like to wish Andrew & Kathryn all the best for their lives together and hope they have a fantastic time in New Zealand!
