New Demo - Taylormade Live Wedding Band

We have just added a new demo to our Live Wedding Band website, 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' By Cyndi Lauper.

It's a real feel good song and we had a great time in the studio recording it! We think it sounds really funky and it's definitely one that gets all the ladies on the dancefloor when ever we perform it live!

To have a listen take a look at our websites :

Charlotte & Damien Jones - Blakelands Country House, Staffordshire

This month myself, Matt, Steve & Geoff had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding of Charlie & Damien Jones at the beautiful Blakelands Country House in Staffordshire.
Charlie & Damien booked us for Wedding Music Package 4, which gave them a full day's entertainment. Matt and I performed as the duo during their ceremony and played 'Songbird' By Eva Cassidy as Charlotte walked up the aisle to a beaming Damien.
We then kicked off the evening with The Taylormade Live Wedding Band performing their First Dance track of 'Chasing Cars' By Snow Patrol, and it was was a fantastic moment as all of their friends and family joined them on the dance floor. Our set also included a version of 'Mrs Jones' which Damien had secretly asked us to perform so he could serenade his new wife!
We had a fantastic time and would like to wish Charlie & Damien all the best for their future together.

Sara & James Edmundson - Woburn Sculpture Gallery, Bedfordshire

Matt and I have just received a lovely letter from Sara & James Edmundson whose Wedding we performed at in September. Sara & James got married at the stunning Woburn Sculpture Gallery in Bedfordshire.

They said:

We would like to take the opportunity to thank you for making the service run so smoothly, you were most attentive on the day and we couldn't have asked for more. We and many of our guests were impressed by your repertoire of songs and especially the ones you learnt especially for our Wedding.Your performance was wonderful and we felt it suited the tone of the day perfectly. You were a pleasure to do business with and we would definitely recommend you to other couples. We have passed the details of our Wedding onto Wedding Ideas Magazine who may publish them in the future and we spoke very highly of you. Thank you once again!"

We would once again like to wish Sara & James a beautiful life together as Husband & Wife.

An Introduction.......

For those of you who are not yet familiar with members of The Taylormade Live Wedding Band, we thought it was about time we introduced ourselves to you!

Carley - Vocals
Carley's Mum says that Carley was humming along to songs before she could walk and talk! So it was no surprise when Carley's first performance was at the tender age of 10, funnily enough, at a Wedding!

Carley, originally from South Wales, not only fronts the Taylormade Live Wedding Band but is also one half of Taylormade Acoustic Duo with her fiance Matt.

Now with over 15 years experience at performing live, Carley really knows how to put on a show!

Matt - Guitar/Vocals

According to Matt's Dad, he taught Matt every he knows! It's a running joke in the band and often ends up with Carley & Steve watching them, completely bemused during rehearsals!

Matt has played in several rock bands but it was not until he met Carley and they started Taylormade that he has been able to play music for a living! Something he would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to give it a go! With over 12 years experience in playing the guitar he is extremely accomplished at both the Acoustic and Electric guitars, and this shows in every fantastic performance!

Geoff - Bass/Vocals

Geoff, Matt's Dad!, comes from a musical family background with his dad being a enthusiastic piano player. Accomplished at both 6 strings and 4, Geoff and Matt swap between Bass and Lead Guitar during the live performances to keep a dynamic, fresh sound to every song.

Geoff plays a beautiful Fender Deluxe Precision Bass which gives a fantastic sound to keep you up dancing throughout the night!

Steve Rigg - Drums

Steve has over 22 years of experience in playing drums. He has his own drum school and teaches over 30 students every week. He has performed at prestigious venues such as The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and The Royal Albert Hall.

Steve has a great sense of humour and there's never a dull moment during rehearsals, other than of course when Geoff says he taught Matt everything he knows!!

Check out our websites for further details about how The Taylormade Live Wedding Band & Taylormade Acoustic Duo can play a part in your special day.

That's it for now......

Peter & Julie Brown, Craig Y Nos Castle, South Wales

In September The Taylormade Live Wedding Band had the pleasure of entertaining Peter & Julie Brown and their guests at the beautiful Craig y Nos Castle near Brecon, South Wales. This castle is situated in the beautiful Brecon beacons National Park and had incredible views of the Welsh countryside.
Peter and Julie booked The Taylormade Live Wedding Band to provide their evening entertainment for their Wedding Reception. We played 2 x 60 minute sets of fantastic party tracks and had a wonderful time. Both myself and Matt really enjoy our Live Wedding Band bookings as it gives us a chance to perform livelier tracks and rock it up when compared to the beautiful romantic atmosphere we create with the Acoustic Duo.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and started the night by performing 'Wonderful Tonight' By Eric Clapton as Julie & Peter's First Dance. We then picked up the tempo and got people dancing the night away to songs like 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' and 'Valerie' By The Zutons.
We would like to wish Peter & Julie all the best for their future together and hope they have a wonderful time in Kenya.
That's it for now......
